Position Overview 
iMentor is seeking a part-time Revenue Coordinator to manage the gift processing and revenue recognition for our national and regional development teams. This role will report to the Managing Director of Finance and serve as the primary liaison to the National and Regional Development teams in the management of the gift processing, donor recognition, database management, and reconciliations between gifts committed and revenue recognized.   

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in general finance support, database management, a broad understanding of general accounting and nonprofit practices and standards. In addition, like all employees at iMentor, the candidate must demonstrate willingness to be reflective, analytical, have exceptional interpersonal skills, and be willing to engage in our organization wide diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
  
Responsibilities  
  • Research and process checks, EFTs/ACH, and/or stock gifts daily
  • Produce gift acknowledgments and maintain record of the acknowledgement in Salesforce ®
  • Create daily gift reports, informing Development teams of new or upcoming donations
  • Obtain and maintain proper backup for all gifts, pledges, and grants
  • Maintain all online donor portals including the updating of organization information and confirmation of gifts
  • Conduct weekly audit of the data entry accuracy of gifts and pledges
  • Produce quarterly reminders for all donors with outstanding payment balances in collaboration with national and regional development teams
  • Reconcile records between donor database, Salesforce ®, and general ledger, Intacct ® 
  • Work directly with Accounting Manager on monthly close-outs on revenue and gifts 
  
Qualifications 
  • At least two years of general finance support experience, preferably in gift processing and/or financial accounting, non-profit experience a plus 
  • Experience working with automated software systems, cloud-based technology and office software. Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Salesforce strongly preferred 
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs and priorities. Can balance multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a good listener who can motivate others through influence, manage expectations and be willing to engage in difficult conversations in order to advance the work 
  • Critical and reflective thinker with keen professional judgement and ability to handle confidential information appropriately 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $25.00 per hour
  • Work Schedule: 25 to 28 hours per week, 5 days a week 
  • Benefits: Per NY State law, all part-time staff will accrue paid sick time
