About the Role
You are the front line of inbound revenue at Diesel Pro Power, a Miami-based global marine diesel parts company serving customers in over 180 countries. When our customers have a vessel down or equipment out of service, every minute matters. Your job is to make sure no opportunity gets missed.
Your responsibility is simple:
- Respond fast
- Filter the noise
- Route correctly
- Protect opportunities from getting missed
You will handle:
- Inbound calls
- Web leads
- Inbound chats
- Abandoned carts
- Customer follow-up activity
You will also protect sales reps from:
- Non-sales calls
- Unsupported-product inquiries
- Low-value interruptions
This is NOT a traditional customer service role. You are NOT responsible for closing sales, quoting pricing, technical troubleshooting, or extended customer conversations.
This is a fast-paced, repetitive, structured, performance-measured operational role.
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls immediately
- Respond to new leads quickly
- Transfer customers live to the correct specialist
- Filter non-sales calls and unsupported-product inquiries away from sales reps
- Handle inbound chats and customer inquiries
- Follow up on abandoned carts
- Make post-delivery customer follow-up calls
- Request Google reviews and referrals
- Log all activity in HubSpot
- Keep the inbound queue moving throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of high-volume phone experience (call center, reception, sales support, or similar)
- Comfortable on the phone for the majority of the workday
- Strong organizational habits and ability to multitask under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
Preferred:
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Background in sales support, lead routing, or customer-facing operations
How Performance Is Measured
Performance bonuses are based on response speed, missed lead prevention, protecting rep selling time, correct call filtering, follow-up completion, and operational consistency.
Employees track performance through response-time dashboards, missed-lead reports, HubSpot activity logs, and manager feedback.
