We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer (BID) with expertise in Epic Cogito to create and optimize revenue analytics content. The ideal candidate must be certified in Cogito Fundamentals and Access Data Model and possess strong experience in Epic analytics tools, SQL, and healthcare business intelligence development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content across all applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer data models, Radar dashboards, and Cogito SQL.
  • Develop analytics content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
  • Write complex SQL queries and configure Radar settings for custom SQL metrics.
  • Modify and enhance existing reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Distribute analytics content to relevant data consumers and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct peer reviews to validate reports for accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand data requirements and optimize reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Certifications: Cogito Fundamentals and Access Data Model.
  • 5+ years of experience in Epic EHR access business intelligence development using Epic analytics tools.
  • 5+ years of experience in Health IT business intelligence development.
  • 7+ years of experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
