Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese-English) Financial Coordinator & Patient Navigator to join our team. This hybrid role blends financial coordination with patient advocacy to ensure a smooth, supportive experience for our Chinese-speaking patients.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Coordination
- Assist patients with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and payment plans.
- Clearly and compassionately explain treatment costs, financial options, and insurance benefits.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, billing departments, and patients to resolve financial issues.
- Manage patient accounts, process payments, and ensure timely billing.
Patient Navigation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking patients throughout their fertility treatment journey.
- Guide patients through appointment scheduling, paperwork, and clinic procedures.
- Provide culturally sensitive support and education to help patients understand their treatment options.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience in healthcare financial coordination or patient services preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with fertility treatment processes is a plus.
