At Southern California Reproductive Center (SCRC), we blend compassionate care with world-class reproductive science. We’re looking for a Medical Assistant / IVF Coordinator to join our collaborative team and support patients throughout their fertility journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures such as IUIs, pap smears, hysteroscopies, and endometrial biopsies.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories with accuracy and sensitivity.
  • Guide patients through fertility treatment cycles, including IVF, IUI, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer.
  • Manage medication schedules, treatment timelines, and documentation with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and embryologists to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support clinical workflow by prepping charts, reviewing labs, tracking results, and assisting during ultrasounds.
  • Provide empathetic, clear communication to patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assist with front desk duties including patient check-in/out and payment collection as needed.
  • Utilize EMR and scheduling systems efficiently.
  • Help with insurance verification and authorizations related to fertility treatment when applicable.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or reproductive medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of fertility treatments, protocols, and terminology a strong plus.
  • Excellent multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support patients with empathy.
  • Flexible availability, including occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
