Job Summary

The Strategic Account Executive- Medical Device Sales is responsible for selling Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and Topical Oxygen Wound Therapy (TOT) and other focused products to achieve financial and strategic goals within an assigned territory. This role will develop and maintain customer relationships Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), and Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facilities. This role will act as the primary sales representative for AOTI in post-acute care settings to influence the adoption and continued usage of TOT and NPWT focused products.

General Accountabilities

Drive AOTI revenue by:

·         Developing and managing relationships with key customer decision-makers including clinical, procurement, and materials management staff

·         Presenting and reinforcing AOTI value proposition to differentiate AOTI from competitive offerings

·         Establishing and driving usage protocols to optimize revenue for TOT and NPWT focused products

·         Managing the introduction of new technologies through new product committee process

·         Providing in-services, training, and general guidance to customers on the appropriate and approved use of AOTI products.

·         Work with internal partners (Marketing, Customer Service, Reimbursement, Training and Logistics)


Actively manage the sales territory by:

·         Utilizing AOTI provided tools to assist in developing a territory plan to prioritize account calls and activities.

·         Partnering with AOTI clinical team to implement conversions and grow revenue at existing accounts.

·         Develop clinical champions to drive key implementation of initiatives into assigned accounts

·         Adhere to all AOTI policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Complete essential business-tracking requirements by:

·         Maintaining sales call data by entering into designated AOTI system (Net Suite and GoCanvas)

·         Completing required corporate and region reports within designated timeframes.

·         As required, resolving account billing, lost equipment and contract renewal issues

·         Manage administrative responsibilities including expense reports, etc.

·         Perform all other duties assigned.

Job Qualifications

·         Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree  

·         Minimum Experience: Relevant experience in the military, clinical practice, or medical device industry may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

·         5 Years, or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Demonstrated B2B sales experience.

·         Medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.

·         SNF, Post-Acute or Hospital Sales experience preferred.

·         Wound Care Sales Experience preferred.

·         Experience with navigating new product introductions and the value analysis review process preferred.

·         Demonstrated track record of success in post-acute setting and/or hospital setting preferred.

·         Completion a formal sales training program preferred.

·         Experience in negotiating, implementing, and measuring compliance with post-acute setting contracts preferred.
