Location: This position is remote, with organizational alignment to our headquarters in Houston, TX.
Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator Intern assists with marketing projects, campaign coordination, content management, and operational support while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare technology marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help coordinate day-to-day marketing projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, and follow-up items.
- Track marketing project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to support on-time execution.
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar with launches, campaigns, events, and milestones.
- Assist with campaign coordination across digital channels, including email, website, and social media.
- Conduct market, audience, and competitor research within the healthcare technology space.
- Organize project files, marketing assets, contact lists, and reporting inputs.
- Support the creation of recurring and ad hoc reports related to campaign and website performance.
- Help maintain dashboards, trackers, and other marketing operations tools.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to keep collateral, messaging, and web content aligned and current.
- Escalate project delays, missing information, or workflow issues to the Director of Marketing.
- Contribute to special projects and general marketing support as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Interest in marketing, digital media, or healthcare technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools.
- Willingness to learn analytics, search marketing, and marketing technology platforms.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Curious, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or project management tools.
- Exposure to social media platforms, website content updates, or email marketing tools.
- Basic familiarity with marketing analytics, reporting, or CRM platforms.
