The role in a nutshell

Octaura is growing fast, and we are ready to build out our sales team. We are looking for strategic sales leads, who are thought leaders in the electronic trading space. This dynamic individual will be dedicated to marketing our products and services, prospecting and building pipeline, and acquiring new customers. This is a solution sales role and requires a creative problem solver who is knowledgeable in capital markets or has hands-on experience in electronic trading.

Core Responsibilities

  • Market and pitch our electronic trading capabilities to potential clients, articulating our value proposition clearly and succinctly
  • Work with product management, client success, and marketing to achieve and exceed sales goals and maximize end-user training
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers at target customers, which includes understanding their key needs and opportunities to displace competition
  • Manage the entire sales process with analysis of competitors and business intelligence activities

Desired experience

  • Experience in B2B solution selling
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills and a resourcefulness to source new leads
  • Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques
