UNIT Solutions, a fast-growing designer and manufacturer of proprietary, non-lethal training systems for military and law enforcement personnel, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support and execute marketing initiatives across digital and traditional marketing channels. This individual will play a key role in managing social media presence, digital ad campaigns, website maintenance, tradeshow support, and general marketing operations. A strong understanding of the tactical or defense training space is a plus. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Vice President.

Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining brand presence across social media, supporting digital ad campaigns, updating website content, coordinating tradeshow logistics, and tracking marketing performance to support business objectives in a manufacturing/assembly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Support

  • Maintain UNIT Solutions’ brand across all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) through scheduled posting, engagement monitoring, and ATF-compliant imagery.​
  • Assist in launching, monitoring, and optimizing digital ad campaigns on Google, Meta, and LinkedIn platforms targeting defense procurement audiences.​

Website & Content Maintenance

  • Update and maintain content on the UNIT Solutions website using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) while ensuring ITAR/ATF compliance for firearms training product materials.​

Tradeshow & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate tradeshow logistics, booth preparation, and marketing materials for events like SHOT Show, NRA Annual Meetings, or AUSA, ensuring firearm transport compliance (locked cases, no ammo).​
  • Support product demonstrations with assembly cutaways, technical spec sheets, and safety data from the manufacturing floor.​

Reporting & Administration

  • Track marketing performance metrics and compile weekly campaign reports for management review.​
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, sales) and external vendors to execute marketing deliverables, including shop floor photoshoot coordination.​
  • Perform other marketing duties as assigned.​

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Experience: 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in tactical, defense manufacturing, or outdoor industries with hands-on digital and event execution.

Skills and Approach to Work:

  • Strong grasp of digital marketing tools including proficiency in paid ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for B2B defense audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing tradeshow deadlines and content schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team, with comfort on shop floor for product photography.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, ITAR export controls, and NSSF guidelines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tactical training space, assembly processes, and end-user needs strongly preferred.
  • Must have a Can-Do” attitude of no job too big, no job too small that includes a small team willingness to do the work yourself as required.

 

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to perform tasks such as booth setup at tradeshows, material handling, and shop floor product photography. The role occasionally requires lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds (e.g., transporting marketing materials, booth components, and demo kits).
