About The Role: The Guest Experience Associate serves as the welcoming face of The Ledger, creating the first impression for every member, guest, and community visitor who walks through our doors. This role is the heartbeat of our front desk operations, responsible for delivering warm, professional service that reflects The Ledger's commitment to community and connection. The Guest Experience Associate ensures the building runs smoothly, members feel valued, and guests experience the exceptional hospitality that defines our community hub. This position requires someone who genuinely enjoys people, thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in the details, and proactively seeks opportunities to enhance every interaction. - Serves as the primary point of contact at the front desk during business hours, greeting members and guests with warmth and professionalism while ensuring all visitors comply with guest policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with members and guests by learning names, anticipating needs, and using gathered information to personalize and enhance their experience at The Ledger.
- Responds to member and guest questions, comments, and concerns with knowledge and care, including wayfinding assistance, policy explanations, and recommendations for local restaurants, services, and community resources.
- Ensures efficient daily operations by monitoring building systems, processes, and amenities to maintain a fully functional, welcoming environment throughout the day.
- Manages access control including tracking, auditing, and organizing key fobs and keycards, maintaining inventory, and requesting new stock as needed.
- Handles all mail and package operations including receiving, processing, sorting, organizing deliveries, notifying members of arrivals, and investigating and resolving lost package issues.
- Cultivates community engagement by identifying and executing opportunities to connect members with each other, promoting The Ledger's offerings, and staying informed about happenings in downtown Bentonville and member companies.
- Plans, promotes, and supports community events including creating and distributing event information, posting weekly event calendars, and facilitating experiences that strengthen member connections.
- Escalates concerns, suspicious behavior, or building issues swiftly and directly to the Guest Experience Lead or appropriate parties to ensure prompt resolution.
- Celebrates member successes and milestones through thoughtful gestures, gifts, and personal recognition that demonstrate genuine care for our community.
- Maintains organized, clean team storage areas and common spaces to support efficient operations and professional presentation.
- Make recommendations regarding best practices for community management, hospitality, operations, events, and member experience that benefit the broader organization.
- All other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of customer service, hospitality, front desk, or reception experience
- Experience in coworking, property management, hospitality, or member-based organizations
- Familiarity with CRM and access control systems or property management software
- Knowledge of the Bentonville/NWA community, local businesses, and resources preferred
- Proficiency with basic office technology (email, scheduling software, Google Workspace or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a full-time schedule
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods and lift packages (up to 20 lbs)
This role involves sitting for extended periods of time in an open-concept environment with varying noise levels.
