What You Bring To The Team: 
The Member Experience Associate serves as the heartbeat of The Ledger's member community, creating meaningful connections and cultivating the vibrant atmosphere that defines our workspace. This role is responsible for member engagement, event planning and execution, new member onboarding, and ensuring every member feels valued, connected, and part of something special. The Member Experience Associate acts as the pulse of the membership experience, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen community bonds, facilitate connections between members, and create memorable experiences that drive satisfaction and retention. This position requires someone who thrives on building relationships, loves bringing people together, has a creative approach to community activation, and genuinely cares about helping members succeed.

The ideal candidate brings event planning experience, strong interpersonal skills, and an infectious enthusiasm for creating spaces where people flourish.  Evening and weekend availability may be required, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes member events and community programming that strengthen relationships, encourage networking, and create the engaging
    atmosphere that makes The Ledger a destination.
  • Welcomes new members through thoughtful onboarding experiences, including building tours, introductions to other members, orientation to amenities and policies, and ensuring they feel integrated into the community from day one.
  • Builds and maintains authentic relationships with members by learning their names, understanding their businesses, anticipating their needs, and using gathered information to personalize and enhance their experience.
  • Serves as a friendly point of contact for members, responding to questions, comments, and concerns with knowledge, care, and solutions that reflect The Ledger's commitment to exceptional service.
  • Identifies and executes opportunities to connect members with each other based on shared interests, complementary businesses, or mutual goals, fostering the collaborative community that defines The Ledger.
  • Stays actively engaged with the downtown Bentonville community and member companies to remain informed about local happenings, opportunities, and resources that benefit members.
  • Celebrates member successes, milestones, and achievements through thoughtful gestures, gifts, recognition, and personal acknowledgment that demonstrate genuine care and strengthen community bonds.
  • Gathers and analyzes member feedback to understand satisfaction levels, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend new programs or initiatives that enhance the member experience.
  • Manages member communications including event promotions, community updates, member spotlights, and other touchpoints that keep members engaged and informed.
  • Collaborates with the Guest Experience team to ensure seamless coordination between member services and facility operations.
  • Maintains knowledge of The Ledger's policies, procedures, amenities, and local resources to provide accurate information and valuable recommendations to members.
  • Make recommendations regarding best practices for member experience, community management, events, and programming that benefit the broader organization.
  • Assists the Member Experience & Sales Lead with prospective member tours when requested, providing insights into community culture, member experience, and answering questions about The Ledger's amenities and programming.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, co-working, or a related service-forward field.
  • Demonstrated event planning or coordination experience, from concept to execution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; you genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with diverse members and guests.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset -- able to anticipate needs and act before being asked.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapting to new situations with ease.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency with basic office technology and willingness to learn internal systems.
