Position Summary

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be a key member of our senior leadership team and will play a critical role in owning & closing key accounts as well as defining and executing our sales strategy. The VP will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team while cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers, often referred to as "executive sponsors." This role focuses on driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong executive-level engagement. You will lead a high-performing sales team and be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and establishing Codoxo as a leader in the Healthcare Cost Containment industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Set ambitious sales targets and quotas, and create a roadmap to achieve them.
  • Build, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify and build relationships with executive-level sponsors within key customer organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for these executive sponsors, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and positioning to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and board of directors on sales performance, KPIs, and key metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to align strategies and deliver on customer promises.

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working for a startup organization required.
  • Payment Integrity experience required.
  • Experience selling to healthcare payers required.
  • Experience working closely with a Board of Directors.
  • Successfully building & closing large accounts with large and complex sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership in the technology industry.
  • Experience selling enterprise class products including software or technology enabled services.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Results-driven and highly motivated.
  • Travel may be required to meet with executive sponsors and attend industry events.

 

 

The annual base salary target for this position is $200K, however we are flexible based on experience.  This position is eligible for sales commission and has unlimited earning potential.
