This is predominantly a remote position, but will require some time in the Corporate Carlsbad Office.


Job Summary:

The Field Inventory Associate is responsible for processing order requests from sales representative(s), product movement, and communication in a timely and accurate manner.


Essential Functions:

· Direct point of contact for Sales Team regarding inventory needs, field stock, and product transfer

· Ensures representative field stock is maintained in support of upcoming sales forecasts

· Receive, verify, and process demand requests from sales team

· Transferring of product between sales representatives based on need and product expiration

· Communicates and resolves issues with sales representatives and operations staff

· Investigates and corrects inventory discrepancies

· Communicate with Suppliers/Warehouse to ensure timely and accurate shipping

· Serves as a backup role for sales support associates for submissions of sales


Essential Qualifications (includes education, background, skills, and expertise):

The person in this role should possess the following experience, abilities and attributes:

· High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred

· Minimum 2 years of prior experience in high volume Inventory Control, Product Management, or related field

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

· Experience using an ERP system, NetSuite is preferred

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to effectively communicate to ensure accurate inventory reporting

· Positive and professional manner, strong focus on detail, accuracy, and accountability, and problem solving

· High degree of organization, prioritization, and initiative

· Helpful and conscientious with a willingness to solve problems
