The Marketing Events Planner is primarily responsible for coordinating, implementing and managing events that facilitate promotion and learning of technically and clinically relevant information to physicians, advanced practitioners, nurse, patients and other medical professionals.  These events may include but are not limited to scientific conferences, tradeshows, professional education, advisory boards, investigator meetings, webinars and other virtual events, etc.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

·         Plan and manage Nalu presence at industry events (both virtual and in-person) per marketing strategy and operating plan

·         Manage end-to-end event coordination with vendors, agencies and Nalu cross-functional teams including: exhibition plans, materials creation and presentation, event messaging/marketing, promotional items, vendor management, venue sourcing and post-event follow-up

·         Manage expense budget, vendor relationships and other resources

·         Coordinate schedules, content and dry-runs with speakers, faculty, proctors, etc. engaged in Nalu sponsored events and events in which Nalu is presented

·         Coordinate development of marketing/promotional content related to events and drive through physical and digital channels

·         Regularly monitor RSVP for programs and communicate status to drive attendance through motivating and engaging commercial teams

·         Measure and report on success of marketing content, program attendance and program feedback

·         Identify opportunities for continuous improvement related to program design, promotion and execution

·         Manage travel and accommodation logistics, administration and bookings when required

·         Remain current on relevant subject matter and apply knowledge to programs consistent with business objectives

·         Work collaboratively with official corporate travel company in accordance with policy and procedure

·         Maintain complete fluency and understanding of Nalu travel and spend policies and external guidelines such as the ADVAMED, Open Payments Act & Sunshine Act

·         Ensure that all initiatives meet Federal, State, Local and Company regulations along with Healthcare Compliance and Regulatory policies

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Healthcare (medical device/biotech) event planning

·         Certified Meeting Planning (CMP) Certification preferred

·         Experience in neuromodulation and/or chronic pain industries a plus

·         Position will require travel (~30%) to oversee execution of events
