Nalu is seeking a motivated, self-starting, independent individual to be an integral part of our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.  This critical role will have responsibility to deliver corporate plans, provide insight into the performance of the business while providing financial support and translate strategy to execution, with minimal direction given.  The candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting activities related to revenue, gross margin, operating expenses and working capital for the Company.  The position reports to the Director, FP&A.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing detailed long-range plan, annual operating plans and monthly/quarterly forecasts for the Company
  • Coordinate multiple financial and business inputs from various functions across the organization and develop financial and business plans
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide finance and business analytics to support growth
  • Drive business case and ROI analysis on salesforce productivity, strategic investments, R&D projects and other business initiatives
  • Develop detailed forecasts and analytics to enhance revenue forecast accuracy; maintain regional P&Ls and analyze monthly revenue and OPEX performance in the sales org
  • Partner with Supply Chain operations to forecast inventory and COGS; support detailed gross margin analyses
  • Partner with Accounting function on month-end accruals and journal entries
  • Provide month-end reporting on revenue, expenses, inventory and capital
  • Create monthly management reports for all departments with variance analysis and drive necessary action plans
  • Act as finance business partner to assigned departments


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or business-related field; MBA or CPA, preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related work experience, preferably in financial analysis and/or a corporate FP&A role in medium and large size companies; medical device industry experience a plus
  • Accounting background, specifically in cost accounting a plus
  • Prior experience using systems and tools - ERP (NetSuite), Planning (Adaptive), Productivity (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
