Junior Loan Processor (Entry-Level – Paid Training)

Location: Melville, NY (Full-Time, In Office)

What You'll Do

• Work alongside Senior Loan Processors to prepare loan files for underwriting.
• Collect and organize required borrower documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to obtain needed information.
• Keep loan files moving by monitoring deadlines and following up on outstanding items.
• Update loan statuses and maintain accurate pipeline reports.
• Review files for completeness and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide borrowers with timely updates throughout the loan process.
• Collaborate with Loan Officer Assistants, Processors, and management to ensure smooth transactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks that help keep the processing team operating efficiently.

What We're Looking For

We're more interested in your work ethic and attention to detail than previous mortgage experience.

• Customer service, administrative, banking, or office experience a plus.
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
