POSITION SUMMARY 

The Assistant Guest Experience Manager is responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional guest checkout experience by ensuring fast, friendly, and efficient service. This role oversees the cashier team, including scheduling, training, performance feedback, and upholding our guest service standards. 

You will partner closely with HR to facilitate service training for new hires, ensure POS systems and equipment operate effectively, and collaborate with IT when issues arise. You will also maintain clean, professional front-end complexes and use strong leadership and problem‑solving skills to improve service and keep the team motivated. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Drive sales and profitability by reducing wait times and supporting team members with complex transactions. 
  • Lead and empower the cashier team to deliver exceptional guest service, enroll guests in the Century21 loyalty program, and encourage guests to share feedback through surveys. 
  • Oversee POS systems and equipment to ensure full functionality, especially during peak business hours. 
  • Collaborate promptly with the Loss Prevention team regarding suspected fraud or incidents that require investigation. 
  • Complete daily deposits, manage change requests, and monitor POS supply and equipment needs. 
  • Facilitate guest service training during New Hire Orientation. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1–3 years of retail management experience required. 
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities. 
  • Flexible, results‑driven, and growth‑oriented. 
  • Ability to train, motivate, and mentor a large, diverse team. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. 

 

COMPENSATION

$66,300 - $72,000
