Someone who can walk into a room with a blank page and leave with multiple big, compelling directions—ideas that are bold enough to excite a CEO and smart enough to win over clients.

You’re not just reacting to briefs—you’re shaping them. You think in campaign platforms, cultural moments, and brand-defining ideas, not just tactics. You know how to use data and insights to sharpen your thinking, but your instinct is always to start with the idea.

 

About the Role

IMT is seeking a Creative Strategist to help us create breakthrough brand experiences—ideas that live across experiential, social, and digital, and actually move the needle.

We work with some of the biggest brands in the country. That means the bar is high. We need someone who can connect the dots quickly, develop multiple strong creative territories under pressure, and help turn those ideas into campaigns that stand out in culture and perform in market.

You’ll play a key role in both client work and new business, helping define not just what we do, but why it matters.

 

Scope & Approach

As a Creative Strategist at IMT, you’ll be responsible for developing big, integrated ideas rooted in real human insight.

You’ll:

  • Turn business challenges into clear, inspiring creative platforms
  • Develop multiple campaign directions quickly (yes, sometimes overnight)
  • Bring a strong point of view on what will break through—and why
  • Use data and insights to validate and refine ideas, not generate them
  • Help shape new business narratives that win rooms and build confidence

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and storytelling—and requires someone who is as comfortable thinking big as they are getting into the details.

 

Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Idea Development

  • Develop big campaign ideas and creative territories across experiential, social, and integrated channels
  • Generate multiple distinct directions that push beyond the expected and give clients real choice
  • Build ideas that are culturally relevant, talk-worthy, and designed to travel across platforms
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Account, and Production to bring ideas to life at a high level

Strategic Thinking (Supporting the Idea)

  • Use audience insight, cultural trends, and performance data to sharpen and support creative thinking
  • Translate business objectives into clear, compelling briefs that inspire strong creative output
  • Define what success looks like—helping teams align around clear goals and outcomes
  • Ensure ideas are not just exciting, but grounded enough to deliver real impact

Client & New Business Leadership

  • Present ideas and strategic thinking with clarity, confidence, and conviction
  • Play a key role in new business, helping shape narratives and big ideas that win pitches
  • Build trust with clients by demonstrating both creative ambition and strategic intelligence

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5–10 years experience in strategy, creative strategy, or concept development within an agency environment
  • Proven ability to develop big ideas across multiple channels, especially experiential and social
  • A portfolio that shows thinking, not just execution—campaign platforms, ideas, and narratives
  • Strong experience writing clear, inspiring creative briefs
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and developing ideas under tight timelines
  • Ability to use data and insights to strengthen ideas, not overcomplicate them
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—you can sell an idea in the room
