Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, and versatile IT Manager to own the technology infrastructure that powers our creative work. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our agency's internal systems and providing critical technical support for our live brand activations. You will be responsible for everything from managing our core cloud services and office network to deploying hardware and providing on-site support at events. The ideal candidate is a master problem-solver with excellent communication skills, who is comfortable supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced, hybrid office and event environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems & Infrastructure Administration: Manage, maintain, and secure our core technology stack, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, Monday.com, and Apple Business Manager.
- Network Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot our local network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls and wireless access points, ensuring reliable connectivity for our in-office team.
- End-User Support & Hardware Provisioning: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs, resolving tickets with excellent customer service. Manage the full lifecycle of user hardware (Mac, Windows, mobile), including provisioning for new hires and offboarding.
- Event Technology Support: Travel to event sites to lead all aspects of on-site IT. This includes setting up temporary networks, installing and testing hardware for interactive experiences, apps, and games, and providing real-time technical support to ensure flawless event execution.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with our production and creative teams to understand their technology needs for upcoming projects. Maintain clear documentation, logs, and internal communications regarding IT processes and updates.
- Office Presence: Provide a consistent and supportive on-site IT presence during core business hours to assist staff and ensure the smooth operation of all office technology.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration, with a strong preference for backgrounds in marketing, creative agencies, or event production environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in administering cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, and Monday.com.
- Hands-on experience with network management, including the configuration and maintenance of Fortinet firewalls and wireless APs.
- Proficiency in supporting both Windows and macOS ecosystems, including hardware setup, software deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and written communication skills; you must be able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members under high pressure and tight deadlines.
- A self-motivated and team-oriented attitude, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel for event activations as required.
Nice-to-Haves
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or Fortinet NSE.
- Direct experience providing technical support for live events or experiential marketing activations.
