Position Summary:


Sparkroom a division of Digital Media Solutions, is seeking a Director of Client Services to join our Paramus, NJ team. The Director of Client Services will be a critical member of our team who is responsible for developing strategies, nurturing long term client relationships, and developing teams through mentoring and leadership. 


The Director of Client Services will be the initial point of contact for all team members when it comes to expanding existing client relationships or campaign management.  They will work with clients to understand their business needs and mentor team members in developing multi-channel solutions.  They will participate in all high-level strategic discussions and planning initiatives and serve as an ally to clients. The Director of Client Services should possess impeccable relationship skills, can partner with Executives, and marketing and product teams to overcome any obstacle for the client.


We are looking for someone who can lead by example, is hands on, driven, nimble and most of all has agency experience within a solutions driven environment.

Principal Responsibilities:


·       Communicate with strategic client contacts on a regular basis to discuss campaign health, opportunities and next steps.

·       Establish a rapport with key client contacts by developing long-term relationships.  

·       Expand existing client relationships while maximizing profitable opportunities.

·       Mentor and guide client services team members to build strong and trusting client relationships, excellence in delivery and proficiency.

·       Keep current on industry trends, news and happenings and distribute to relevant team members.

·       Shape concepts into solutions and programs to best achieve client goals. 

·       Direct writing of creative briefs and proposals managed by the client services team members.

·       Partner with internal counterparts to maximize opportunities and growth potential.
