What you’ll do:
As a Sales Operations Intern at Guidesly, you’ll be involved in various aspects of sales operations, from data analysis to process improvement. You will work closely with the sales team to streamline operations, analyze sales data, and help optimize workflows, ensuring Guidesly’s sales team is well-equipped to achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Support the sales team with analyzing sales data and generating performance reports. Track key metrics such as sales pipeline status, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- CRM Management: Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring sales records, customer data, and activities are well-organized.
- Sales Process Optimization: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for improving sales processes, reducing bottlenecks, and enhancing efficiency.
- Market & Customer Research: Conduct research on outdoor activity trends, customer behaviors, and competitor offerings to help guide sales strategies.
- Sales Team Support: Provide administrative support, including preparing sales decks, assisting with scheduling meetings, and coordinating sales initiatives across teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, customer success, and other departments to ensure alignment on sales objectives, campaigns, and processes.
- Special Projects: Contribute to special projects related to sales operations, performance tracking, or sales enablement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Passion for the outdoors and interest in the adventure/tourism industry.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with data to generate actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
