Position Overview
ATG Inc. is seeking a recent, hands-on G/TIMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide deep technical and operational expertise on the Graduate Training Integration Management Systems (G/TIMS). This role requires in-depth knowledge of G/TIMS functionality, real-world use causes, system limitations, and integration points, with the goal of informing requirements and recommendations for future replacement or successor systems derived from existing G/TIMS workflows and data models. The ideal candidate is a 1C0X2 (Aviation Resource Management) professional or Flight Management specialist with recent squadron-level experience using G/TIMS daily.
Candidates with experience in AETC units (UFT, FTU, flying training squadrons) are highly preferred due to the heavy reliance on G/TIMS, but recent experience in ACC, AFGSC, AMC, AFSOC, or ANG/AFRC MAJCOMs is also acceptable.
We are primarily targeting candidates who have served at the SrA (E-4) to TSgt (E-6) level with strong operational training/scheduling knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as ATG’s primary SME for G/TIMS, PEX, and Puckboard, advising squadron- and group-level staff
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly flying schedules, coordinating crew assignments and aircraft availability
• Maintain and audit aircrew qualification records, upgrade training, continuation training, and currency tracking
• Interpret and apply AFI 11-2xx series guidance to ensure compliance in all training workflows
• Support sortie generation planning, aircrew utilization, and training progression reporting
• Assist training shops, SARM/TARM, and DO/ADO with data accuracy and system optimization
• Build training plans, check ride workflows, and electronic flight bag (EFB) documentation
• Provide G/TIMS troubleshooting, configuration support, and user-level mentorship
• Maintain strict adherence to OPSEC and classified data handling
Required Qualifications
• Recent G/TIMS experience (within the last 2–4 years strongly preferred)
• Air Force 1C0X2 (Aviation Resource Management) or Flight Management background
• Hands-on proficiency with all three systems:
– GTIMS / G-TIMS
– PEX
– Puckboard
• Experience supporting flight operations in one or more MAJCOMs:
– Preferred: AETC (UFT/FTU or training squadrons)
– Acceptable: ACC, AMC, AFSOC, AFGSC, ANG, AFRC
• Strong working knowledge of:
– AFI 11-2xx series and MAJCOM supplements
– Aircrew upgrade, qualification, and continuation training
– Scheduling and sortie generation processes
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI highly preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting instructors, student pipelines, UFT/IFT/FTU workflows, or training management
• Familiarity with ARMS, TIMS, or related Air Force operations systems
• Experience coordinating with DO/ADO, AFE, mobility shops, and training offices
• Strong understanding of ORM processes and risk scoring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Education
• High school diploma required
• Completion of 1C0X2 technical training or similar ops/training roles strongly preferred
Contract Details
• 1099 independent contractor (not a W-2 position)
• Hourly or project-based compensation depending on task order
• Remote, hybrid, or on-site support as mission requires
