The Product Owner is a member of the product team who is responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing the team’s backlog to streamline execution and quality of product development. This is a full-time employee position.  

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Leverage domain and user expertise to create and prioritize epics and user stories for product development
    • Develop clear and testable story and feature acceptance criteria that create shared understanding of desired results; review and accept backlog items as ready
    • Manage the product development team to create a strong end product
    • Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems
    • Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional product stakeholders to achieve project goals
    • Leverage domain expertise to influence overall product vision and roadmap
    • Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon software
    • Work closely with the team throughout the development process
    • Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects


    Required Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree required/Master's in business administration preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a product owner in the industry
    • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and process
    • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Creative and innovative thinker


     Preferred Knowledge and Skills

    • Background in SaaS products preferred
