With a growing international footprint and an increasing number of products and services, ACFCS is seeking an Assistant Training Developer to support efforts to scale up its library of training content.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-guided, and personable. The role is a combination of content creation, management of subject matter experts, outreach to clients and partners, and operational tasks.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Utilize content authoring tools to build and maintain online learning modules
  • Assist with client outreach and research to develop learning paths and curricula that meet industry needs
  • Assist with managing subject matter experts to create training content
  • Help with the development of training content in a variety of formats – E-learning, video, webcast, hybrid, etc.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of content in a learning management system
  • Support projects to update and improve the Certified Financial Crime Specialist credential and its preparatory materials
  • Schedule webinars and coordinate with presenters
  • Assist with speaker identification, recruitment and coordination for conferences, chapter meetings and other live events
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of content in a learning management system
  • Develop partnerships with other associations and industry groups around content, training, and events
  • Support training and content development initiatives for chapters


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proven working experience with instructional design and e-learning concepts and methodologies
  • Prior experience with content authoring and course development tools (i.e. Storyline, Captivate, iSpring, etc.)
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Prior experience with at least one learning management system
  • Strong writing skills; ability to write and edit instructional text and audio/video scripts
  • Prior experience moderating or hosting webinars preferred
  • Experience with event management a plus
