Airlink is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit humanitarian logistics organization that connects airlines with vetted nonprofits to deliver disaster responders and supplies to communities in crisis worldwide.

Airlink and its airline partners have transported nearly 14,000 passengers and 6,700 tons of cargo in support of a broad range of humanitarian initiatives that have provided aid to more than 64 million people. Airlink has saved our NGO partners more than $43,000,000 in transport costs.

As Airlink celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025, we are looking ahead to the next five years, with annual goals that call for increasing our team by 25%, refining our fundraising strategies, and strengthening our brand. To that end, we are seeking a seasoned Corporate Relations Manager to build Airlink’s corporate partnerships portfolio and to manage the annual fundraising campaign.  

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Corporate Relations Manager will lead non-aviation corporate partnerships for Airlink. In this role, they will maintain a portfolio of 50-75 donors and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of corporate giving, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

The manager will also have a strong responsibility for managing Airlink’s corporate sponsorship and emergency response fundraising program and supporting various components of donor strategy, employee giving, special events, third-party fundraising, monthly donors, online giving, and matching gifts. The Corporate Relations Manager will help the development team generate revenue through pipeline management, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

The Corporate Relations Manager will also focus on securing funding by partnering with various corporate foundations, humanitarian aid organizations, and other related entities.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Corporate Partnerships and Fund Development (60%)

  • Manage and build a corporate portfolio of non-aviation donors with annual contributions ranging from $10,000-$100,000+.
  • Manage corporate pipeline and brand campaigns with current and future partnerships.
  • Leverage the 15th anniversary, seasonal weather themes, CSR/ESG, and other brand activations to engage, attract, and solicit corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Manage and lead annual campaigns, employee giving, third-party fundraising, and support special events.
  • Help identify new industries, audiences, and business sectors to engage for support and visibility.
  • Track and manage reporting on grants and sponsorships for portfolio management.

 

Campaign Management & Reporting (30%)  

  • Manage identify, cultivate, and renew corporate donors through prospect research, direct engagement, related fundraising events and activities, and donor communications.
  • Manage administration and reporting for disaster-timed giving campaigns, including outreach to donors directly and through leveraged public sources.
  • Collaborate with Communications on preparing campaign collateral - including e-mail and online media - that resonates with diverse stakeholders and inspires donor support.
  • Develop campaign materials, acknowledgments, invitations, funding reports, and presentations.
  • Assess roster of leveraged platforms and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency while growing portfolio.
  • Develop and implement strategies and campaigns to encourage increased donor involvement and higher-level giving, including prospects of all donor types.
  • Support and analyze all multi-channel fundraising appeals, including but not limited to: Airlink 15th Anniversary, Calendar Year End Appeals, annual Renewals and Increases, Giving Tuesday, and others as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Program teams to develop compelling fundraising content.

 

Administration & Development Support (10%)

  • Ensure donor messaging across platforms– email, mail, text, and online – is consistent and complementary.
  • Support special events and donor fundraisers for Airlink.
  • Manage annual campaign reporting and manage data & analytics.
  • Maintain Salesforce reporting and executive dashboard management to support the development team.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s s degree or relevant work experience + High School diploma. 
  • 5+ years of non-profit fundraising experience (relevant agency or for-profit experience considered).
  • Knowledge of fundraising/development principles, donor research and cultivation, and proposal process.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce (or comparable CRM), Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Mailchimp, and Donorbox (or other comparable tools).
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally (20-30%).
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

  • High emotional IQ; ability to read a donor's emotional cues, understand their motivations and tailor a cultivation approach accordingly.
  • Passion for Airlink’s mission and commitment to aiding those in need.
  • Knowledge of the aviation and/or humanitarian logistics industries.

Location:

Airlink is headquartered in downtown Washington, D.C., and operates a hybrid work schedule with the team in-office three days a week. Given the collaborative nature of this position, preference will be given to candidates who are in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C., area. However, fully remote work will be considered for highly qualified candidates.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Additionally, Airlink provides a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to:
