About the position
SafeTraces is looking for a UX Designer responsible for designing a cutting-edge web application that is user-friendly and intuitive. The fast-moving nature of the work requires excellent attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently and be flexible with tasks and schedules.
What you’ll be doing
- Understand product specifications and map out use cases and user scenarios
- Develop creative briefs, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
- Support developers with HTML/ CSS fixes or recommendations
- Present and communicate designs and project deliverables to peers and stakeholders
- Establish and evangelize design guidelines, best practices, and standards for digital experience
- Display a strong grasp of user needs and at the ability to communicate internally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a UX designer, UI designer or similar role
- 3+ years work experience in UX design on multiple platforms (Linux, Android, IOS)
- Strong portfolio of design projects that include web applications, web sites, mobile/tablet/desktop apps, and PowerApps
- Hands-on experience designing responsive sites
- Proven ability to gather/ document business and functional requirements
- Proficient in design software and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, XD, Zeplin
- Problem-solving aptitude and Excellent communication skills
