About the position
We are looking for a Program Manager who will drive complex, multi-year commercial and government contracts to successful execution, across internal and external teams. This includes directing multi-disciplinary teams and requires outstanding cross-functional and cross-organizational management skills.
What you will be doing:
- Program-manage commercial and government projects
- Maintain budget and schedule visibility across all projects
- Collaborate within SafeTraces across all functional areas
- Collaborate with outside team members
- Identify and communicate potential failure points and propose creative solutions
- Maintain program infrastructure (tracking, filesharing, communication, etc.)
- Coordinate program meetings
- Own program agendas and periodic reports to clients and stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- MBA or equivalent, BS in sciences or life sciences highly desired.
- Project management – 7+ years’ experience running multi-discipline complex projects with outsourced teams
- Budget management - experience running multi-million dollar projects
- Schedule management – highly focused on task completion and meeting deadlines
- Documentation and Change Control - experience running programs in highly regulated industries
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to “get into the weeds” to fully understand interdependent tasks and critical path alternatives
- IP - able to manage patentable and trade secret IP
- Ability to prioritize, while maintaining sense of urgency, transparency, and honesty
