Job Title: Fundraising Operations Specialist (Product Management)
Position Summary:
This position at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“MJFF”) is a key member of the Enablement team within the Fundraising Strategy & Operations department. This department is integral in helping MJFF’s Development business unit scale as they drive revenue growth by reducing the time relationship managers spend on various administrative tasks, speeding up the stewardship process, and improving the experience for the donor. This role focuses on supporting vendor-based program specific operations, driving new strategic program implementation, and implementing process improvements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the strategic direction of fundraising operations for the implementation and execution of tools and best practices that will build on the current foundation of fundraising processes
- Develop proficiency in MJFF’s fundraising platform, Classy, to become the primary resource for any questions or requests
- Support in the strategic use of our business intelligence tools and in evaluating better processes for peer-to-peer and event-based fundraisers. Leverage Classy and future communication tools to provide operations support for initiatives driven by fundraising teams
- Produce deliverables and act as a subject matter point person in day-to-day use of the Classy Fundraising platform. Provide operational support to development colleagues including facilitating training opportunities, developing reporting packages, and building campaigns
- Build and monitor campaign reports to ensure efficient creation and utilization of campaign tools for internal users
- Provide holistic department support to ensure efficient and effective practices that advance MJFF’s revenue and engagement goals
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of project management skills, with the ability to take a project from assignment to completion
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests for information and prioritize those requests to meet deadlines
- Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate confidently and with empathy, both within the Foundation and externally
- Organized and able to think big picture while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- At home in a team environment, possessing a collaborative, interactive work style with an eagerness to learn from team members
- A self-starting mentality with sound judgment and an ability to anticipate needs without explicit direction
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
