Job Title: Executive Assistant


Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) is seeking a proactive, multitasking, and detailed-oriented professional to serve as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Development Officer.  This role will manage email inbox, calendar, travel arrangements (domestic/international, personal/business), and general administrative & project management support as needed. The ideal candidate is one who has a positive attitude, works well with others, strives for sustained excellence and efficiency, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage all daily scheduling on behalf of the CDO, including business meetings, professional event attendance, and appointments to keep CDO on track.
  • Coordinate appointments with key stakeholders, set up and track meetings, and prepare materials and appropriate follow-up daily.
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to enhance the CDO’s daily and ongoing operations and effectiveness.
  • Manage and prioritize email correspondence and issues to be addressed, tasks to close, and communicate progress/status.
  • Support ad hoc tasks, such as assistance with presentation preparation, organization of teambuilding events, due diligence projects
  • Plan and coordinate all CDO travel and business expenses.
  • Information management: data entry and customized querying/reporting as needed, with a particular focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) via Salesforce.
  • Partner with the CDO in maintaining a culture that is responsive, welcoming, and service-oriented.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance, including calendar and scheduling support, to other leadership team members at the discretion of the CDO.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Prior expertise in executive-level organizational and task management supporting C-level executives.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, including strong proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Demonstrate significant ability for discretion and confidentiality in the handling of sensitive issues, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Task-oriented with an excellent sense of proactivity, priority, logic, and objectivity
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus

 

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.  In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
