Job Title: Coordinator, Community Fundraising Events

 

Position Summary:

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is seeking top talent for its Coordinator, Community Fundraising Events position.  This position will be integral in providing administrative and customer service support to all Community Fundraising Event programs including: Endurance, Run/Walk, Unity Walk, Tour de Fox (cycling) and DIY Series. The candidate will work closely with participants by providing generalized support and stewardship to enhance fundraising efforts.  The Coordinator, Community Fundraising Events will report to the Director, Community Fundraising Events.  

 

The Coordinator, Community Fundraising Events will be expected to have a hybrid-flex work schedule with at least part-time in the MJFF office in midtown New York City.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing programmatic email inboxes and fielding inquiries from community members
  • Provide best in class customer service support to external constituents and vendors
  • Oversee all programmatic shipping and fulfillment for events
  • Work with partner teams to manage inventory of fundraising rewards and incentive items
  • Systematize and coordinate distribution of programmatic event materials, promotional items, and giveaways
  • Coordinate staff travel, hotel blocks and meal reservations
  • Prepare and send donation receipts for program donations exceeding $2K
  • Provide support to large-scale annual events such as MVP Celebration Weekend and other MJFF Community Fundraising Events, as needed. 

 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • History of proven success coordinating administrative activities for a team
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Be proactive and action-oriented; have a willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ to meet goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work at hand
  • Comfort navigating various technology platforms
  • Interest in occasional event travel

 

 

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000.    In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
