Job Title: Coordinator, Team Fox Endurance

Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is seeking top talent for its Coordinator, Team Fox Endurance position. Team Fox (www.teamfox.org) is MJFF’s grassroots fundraising program which is focused on raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s research in local communities. Our global community of fundraising members work with Team Fox staff to receive special resources and tools to transform their passions and interests into unique fundraising campaigns, special events, or athletic feats. 

This position provides a unique opportunity for an individual eager to break into the non-profit sector. This role will report to and work closely with the Associate Director, Team Fox Endurance to oversee and manage MJFF’s global endurance program. Comprised of 400+ athletes annually, the Team Fox Endurance Program supports community member participation in 10+ signature events including the World Marathon Majors events as well as climbing adventures including a Mt. Kilimanjaro climb, among others.

This position is hybrid-flex and will be expected to work from MJFF’s office in midtown Manhattan, New York City on a regular basis.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support management of registration process for 400+ athletes per year across 12-15 events
  • Manage general program inbox to field inquiries and customer service support
  • Lead on all key communications regarding race/event logistics, responsibilities, and activities
  • Coordinate staff travel & accommodations across all Endurance events
  • Support vendor relationships including, but not limited to, hotel blocks, pre & post-race venues, and event photographers
  • Manage creation and management of program's P2P fundraising webpages (via) to facilitate fundraiser registration, fundraising and engagement (12-15 events, per year)
  • Oversee maintenance of programmatic inventory (cowbells, signage, new athlete welcome package, race jerseys, incentive items, etc.)
  • Support and attend broader Team Fox & MJFF program events, including the annual MVP Awards Weekend, Parkinson's IQ + You, and others
  • Position requires travel approximately 30% of the year, occasional weekend travel is required


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and processes simultaneously while prioritizing tasks
  • Gets energy from communicating with a diverse array of audiences that allows them to showcase strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong growth mindset capable of learning from challenges
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate confidently and with empathy, both within the Foundation and externally
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed; must have a valid driver’s license and passport


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer fundraising or event management, a plus


 Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
