Job Title: Senior Fundraising Analyst (Data Pipelines and Advanced Analytics)
Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Fundraising Analyst position in the Fundraising Strategy & Operations (“FSO”) department. FSO drives revenue growth by optimizing fundraising efforts through growth strategy, data insights, streamlined technology and process management, and campaign support. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising Analytics, this position plays a key role in advancing data-driven fundraising strategy by designing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable analytics solutions. This role partners closely with the Technology team and cross-functional Analytics groups to migrate and enhance data pipelines on AWS, ensuring strong data quality, reliability, and reporting consistency. Leveraging advanced analytical techniques, this role develops complex SQL queries across multiple data sources to generate actionable insights and deliver robust reporting that supports strategic decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across functions throughout the foundation and contribute highly visible work with meaningful organizational impact.
This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. and will be expected to work east coast hours (standard business hours are 9:00am – 5:00pmEST).
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable revenue metrics, reports, dashboards, and other data solutions for fundraising team, diving deep into business trends and performance across multiple revenue programs and initiatives

Partner closely with Data Systems and cross-functional Analytics teams to migrate existing fundraising data pipelines to AWS, including auditing current ETL processes to identify opportunities for optimization, performance improvement, and simplification

Support the design and maintenance of data dictionaries and lead the transition of downstream reporting and analytics to leverage AWS-based datasets and services

Apply advanced analytical techniques to analyze complex datasets from multiple sources, generating actionable insights and developing data-driven solutions to inform fundraising decision-making. Monitor and review BI platform outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across stakeholders.

Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data transformations to support data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and enable consistent reporting across business units and analytical systems.

Lead data science initiatives and exploratory analyses, including the development, testing, validation, and performance tuning of predictive models that inform fundraising strategy, forecasting, and portfolio management.

Collaborate closely with Technology and Analytics partners across the org to implement data governance and analytics center of excellence.

Communicate and present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable narratives that support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant experience in Data Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Consulting with measurable success and achievement

Experience building customized and interactive dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc.

Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS, including services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, etc.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically

Proven commitment to data hygiene, project management, and customer service

Proficiency in SQL and experience working with rationale database; experience with Python, R, SPSS, and other scripting languages a plus

Experience with CRM, especially Salesforce, a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytics to both experts and novices

Strong organizational skills: keen multi-tasker able to support diverse teams

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
