Job Title: Fundraising Tools & Technology Lead 


Position Summary: 
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Fundraising Tools & Technology Lead.  This position oversees the application of the Foundation’s technology stack in support of fundraising outcomes. This role is responsible for overseeing and implementing fundraiser usage of core technology investments, including Classy, the Foundation’s gift processing platform. This position implements policies and procedures that allow for individual servicing of technology while driving the optimization of these investments to support fundraisers, programs, and campaigns.    

This position may be hybrid-flex with the opportunity to work out of the Foundation’s office in New York City or based remotely within the U.S. 

 
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with program, portfolio, and project leads to recommend the strategic application of technology across fundraising activations 

  • Develop a roadmap for Classy, the Foundation’s donation platform, to explore product features and enhancements that can propel the success metrics of our various fundraising campaigns 

  • Implement policies and procedures – in accordance with Legal, Technology, and Development leadership – that safeguard donor data in technology usage 

  • Develop and refine processes and resources to ensure Classy operational needs are continuously met 

  • Partner with Development leaders to support the fundraising campaign strategy with the Foundation’s technology suite 

  • Partner with Technology leaders to develop a shared roadmap for product support for high-impact fundraising projects and program support  

  • Act as the primary contact for Development’s technology needs, partnering with technology and development leadership to prioritize investments for maximum impact 

  • Oversee the training and uptake of fundraiser technology usage 

  • Oversee implementation for development for new vendors and technologies, including a special events platform and registration system 

  • Act as the operational lead for the Direct Response program, partnering with the team to improve conversion rates across digital donation platforms 


Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Proven experience developing processes, tools, and infrastructure for a technology tech stack, preferably in a nonprofit setting 

  • Proven experience providing project/program oversight to team members 

  • Proven experience with Salesforce 

  • Experience with donation processing platforms 

  • Knowledge of product management 

  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor lifecycles, and fundraising campaign best practices 

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple levels, including leadership 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; diplomatic and able to be solutions-oriented in complex environments 


Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000.  In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
