Job Title: Knowledge Management Intern
Length of Internship: 10 weeks (fully remote)
Schedule: Tuesdays – Thursdays from 10amEST - 4pmEST
Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Knowledge Management Intern opportunity. Working with the People & Culture team, the Intern will assist in building team sites, developing documentation, and improving information accessibility across the Foundation.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Examples of projects that the Intern will collaborate on over the 10-week period include:

Building a communication site for the People & Culture team that will be a model for other business unit sites

Map the needs of sites for the Administration team and the Office of the CEO
-
Create materials for brown bag training sessions on SharePoint, learn how to facilitate with goal of running
-
Work with People & Culture teams to develop content for all staff consumption. Meet with and discuss themes and sources, write drafts that provide correct context to the materials in a dynamic pleasing UI
Additional Responsibilities Include:

Foster creative thinking to generate new and fresh ideas for content and workflow improvements

Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure accurate coverage of specialized subjects

Support ad-hoc projects related to knowledge management and organizational learning
Qualifications and Skills:
-
High school diploma, GED or HSED required
-
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Management, Business Management, Library Science,
Communications, Human Resources, or a related field required

Degree could be from a technical college or university
-
Strong organizational and research skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Co-Pilot and can work creatively, collaboratively, and independently
Hourly Rate:
The hourly range for this internship is:

Undergraduate Students: $17-$19/hour
-
Graduate Students: $19-$21/hour
