Job Title: Annual Giving Specialist

Position Summary: 
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Annual Giving Specialist position.  This role is responsible for support and execution of Annual Giving strategies. This role will support both mass market revenue tactics and mid-level donor relationship strategies in cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention. This position is responsible for both internal and external-facing communications from the Annual Giving team to donors, prospects, and partners.  

This position may be hybrid-flex or based remotely from anywhere within the U.S.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to execute tactics in support of Annual Giving revenue line ($25M in 2024)  
  • Support external-facing communications in collaboration with key stakeholders to donors and prospects by creating, facilitating and sending monthly donor notecards, social media messenger content, automatic email responses, acknowledgement letters, etc.
  • Manage vendor relationships, administration, and content for third party fundraising vehicles, including Legacy.com, Creating Healthy Communities and Double the Donation
  • Evaluate the success of campaigns and performance against goals and key performance indicators including weekly reports, completing data inquiries, performing post-campaign analysis, proposing business opportunities and report-out
  • Managing digital and non-digital materials to create a cohesive image and message for revenue-based initiatives with special attention for usage of Classy, the Foundation’s digital fundraising platform, and maintaining donation forms consistent with strategies and campaign messages
  • Maintain Annual Giving email inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support Annual Giving Relationship Managers with stewardship activities using tools like Cultivated Client and Postalgia
  • Assist in maintaining Annual Giving data integrity using the Foundation’s CRM, Salesforce
  • Provide budget management support through processing purchase orders and invoices

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Foundational experience in a non-profit fundraising or comparable environment
  • Ability to contribute to a highly collaborative team, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and working proactively with others towards goals and objectives 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with an ability to successfully navigate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software or equivalent software is a plus 
  • Occasional travel for internal meetings and Foundation events, ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.  In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
