Job Title: Senior Fundraising Campaign Analyst
Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Fundraising Campaign Analyst position. The Fundraising Strategy and Operations department (FSO) drives revenue growth by optimizing fundraising efforts through growth strategy, data insights, streamlined technology and process management, and campaign support. This department is integral in helping the Foundation scale its mission through an expanded revenue base. As a key component of FSO, the Fundraising Analytics team manages the backend data warehouse and pipeline, ensures data governance, and provides strategic data support through reporting, advanced analytics, and data modeling.
This position will collaborate with the Fundraising Campaigns team to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, ensuring the success and effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and initiatives. You will conduct both pre- and post-campaign analyses, interpreting data, uncovering trends, delivering performance metrics, and generating insights to drive impactful campaign outcomes. This role will have the opportunity to partner across all functions within the Foundation, delivering highly visible work with significant impact.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports, analyses, and dashboards for fundraising campaigns, monitoring and evaluating campaign effectiveness. Dive deep into data trends, interpret performance, uncover actionable insights, and recommend strategies for enhancement
- Conduct pre-campaign analysis to build audience insights and develop measurement solutions for tracking segment performance. Collaborate with the audience strategist and revenue growth team to ensure the right audience is targeted for each campaign, identifying key audience segments to optimize campaign effectiveness
- Oversee the analysis of major call-to-action campaigns, such as Parkinson’s Awareness Month, Giving Tuesday, and Year-End. Determine successful strategies and suggest areas for refinement to help shape future campaign plans
- Lead the analysis and reporting for the Foundation’s first comprehensive multi-year campaign, delivering in-depth insights into its performance
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate ROI and impact, highlight opportunities for improvement, and provide valuable insights to drive future campaign success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the use of accurate data across platforms for effective campaign execution
- Implement A/B testing, analyze results, and optimize campaign performance based on insights
- Participate regular meetings with internal stakeholders to review campaign pacing and progress towards established goals
- Work with both external partners and internal stakeholders to manage direct mail and paid media campaigns, staying up to date on strategies and providing necessary data support
- Communicate and present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders across the Foundation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence or Consulting with measurable success and achievement
- Relevant experience building customized and interactive dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.
- Highly analytical, sharp, and innovative thinker
- Commitment to data hygiene, project management and customer service
- Relevant knowledge of SQL and experience working with rationale database; proficiency in Python, R, SPSS, and other scripting languages a plus
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytics to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills, keen multi-tasker able to support diverse teams
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with CRM, especially Salesforce, is a plus
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
