Substitute Teacher Opportunities for the 2025–26 School Year
Effective August 1, 2025, Dawson School—a K-12 independent school located just east of Boulder—is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers for the 2025–26 academic year. Substitute Teachers at Dawson play a vital role in supporting student learning by stepping in for regular classroom teachers on a short-term basis. In most cases, substitutes will follow the established lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to ensure continuity in instruction. Follow lesson plans and instructions designed by the absent teacher

Additional duties as deemed necessary by the School
This temporary position offers an hourly wage of $22.00, with a minimum guarantee of three hours of pay for each day worked. While the position is not benefits-eligible, lunch is provided at no cost. Substitute teaching opportunities are available on an ongoing basis throughout the school year.
