Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 535 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 112-acre campus, seeks Athletic Coaches for various sports. The role of our coaching staff is to motivate an individual/team by improving the performance and skills of our athletes by conducting training sessions, coordination practice drills, and providing guidance.   • Head Middle School Girls' Lacrosse Coach - March 3, 2025 to May 9, 2025
  • Assistant Middle School Girls' Lacrosse Coach - March 3, 2025 to May 9, 2025
  • Assistant Canoe & Kayak Coach - February 24, 2025 to May 24, 2025

Practices are everyday during the week with an occasional Saturday practice or game. 

Middle School practices are from 2:30-3:30pm and Upper School practices are from 3:45-5:45 pm

Qualifications

  • A strong desire to mentor and work with middle school and high school students.

  • Must work collaboratively with the athletic department and staff members.

  • Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred.

  • Considerable knowledge of the game.

  • Have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

  • Communicate effectively, collaborate, and work positively as a member of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.

The salary for these temporary positions is $1,500 to $2,000 stipend. Compensation is commensurate with experience. These positions are not eligible for benefits.
