SUPERVISOR TITLE: AVP for Auxiliary Operations
JOB TYPE: Two part-time openings available- ( 24 hours per week) and (16 hours per week).
Job Description:
As a Part-Time Store Associate at SCU, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus store. You will assist in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized retail environment, and supporting various store functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management:
- Receive and stock merchandise shipments.
- Maintain organized shelves and displays, ensuring products are well presented.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
- Store Operations:
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Monitor and replenish shopping bags and store supplies.
- Assist in pricing and tagging merchandise.
- Payment Options:
- Handle credit cards and mobile payments with accuracy.
- Follow store policies and procedures for PCI compliance.
- Assist in Promotions and Events:
- Support store promotions and special events, including setting up displays and signage.
- Provide information and assistance during promotional periods.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with store team members and communicate effectively.
- Assist in training new store associates when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible hours, additional shifts 9am – 5pm.
