GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Business Analyst/Junior Administrator is responsible for providing ongoing support maintaining Salesforce platform, including the call dialer. The position will be involved with entry level to mid-level administrator functions such as user management, permissions, and providing end user support and data maintenance, including building new functions and processes to improve user end efficiency. Keys to success in this position include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with others, ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure, follow basic troubleshooting techniques, processes, and to escalate as needed. This position will be responsible for understanding the needs of the admissions and marketing department, business processes, translating their needs into Saleforce solutions, communicating with the AVP of Admissions and the Lead Salesforce Administrator. Your expertise is Salesforce and business analysis will drive the success of SCU.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for management of call dialer, Five9, including user set up/support, call campaigns, inquiry distribution and daily reporting.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and cleanse data as needed to ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce, especially as it related to the call dialer, Five9. Inquiry management.
  • Reporting: Produce admissions and marketing reports related to inquiry and application conversion rate to make strategic decisions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate bug resolution with Lead SF Administrator. Ensure solutions meet quality and functionality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project requirements, design decisions, and system configurations. Create user guides and training materials as necessary.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning of Salesforce initiatives, including roadmap development and long-term vision.
  • Project Leadership: Take a lead role in managing Salesforce projects, work closely with Development manager during planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Training and Support: Conduct user training sessions to ensure clients can effectively use Salesforce applications. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Best Practices: Stay current with Salesforce updates and additional systems at the direction of the Lead Salesforce Administrator. Follow industry best practices, and emerging trends. Share knowledge and best practices with the team to continuously improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the AVP of Admissions

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks, where applicable.

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in higher education.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Enrollment Management Software; Customer Relationship Manager Software; and Jenzabar.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Salesforce certification strongly preferred.

 

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of marketing and recruiting concepts and sales and customer service experience a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including admissions, marketing, IT and education.
