About the Position 

At 2Revolutions, each Senior Director plays a critical leadership role in driving learner-centered, equitable, and transformative educational experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, the Senior Director of K-12 leads external consulting engagements and stewards internal implementation of strategic priorities for K-12 transformation. This role requires both deep expertise in instructional leadership and systems transformation and a dynamic balance between forward-facing project implementation and internal stewardship of key elements of 2Revolutions' learning design. This includes an integrated approach in support of our K-12 efforts, such as Communities of Practice, Graduate Programs, and whole system transformation. Senior Directors collaborate across teams and with partners to design and deliver high-impact learning experiences and strategies grounded in learner-centered principles.

Senior Directors are expected to build and sustain trust-based relationships with partners and clients. In doing so, they play a critical role in supporting successful implementation, while identifying opportunities for future collaboration and sustained engagement, in alignment with 2Revolutions' values and long-term goals.

This position reports to the Managing Director of Implementation and works collaboratively with the Strategy Team to ensure coherence and impact across core assets and partnerships.

About the Role

Leading External Partnerships 

  • Lead a portfolio of field-facing partnerships, serving as the lead and relationship owner to ensure alignment with partner goals and high-impact, learner-centered implementation.

  • Manage internal teams to design and deliver high-quality partnerships. Provide project management, coaching, and support to ensure excellence in execution and alignment with 2Rev’s learning design

  • Design and facilitate high-quality learning experiences—including Communities of Practice, Celebrations of Learning, Strategic Planning Sessions, and Coaching—that reflect 2Rev’s learning design and are tailored to partner needs to support leadership reflection and true capacity building.  

  • Understands the principles of learning experience design and the ability to apply those principles through designing and facilitating various experiences (e.g., in-person sessions, hybrid networks, etc.) 

  • Support budget development and lead the monitoring and alignment of project budgets and internal resources to ensure they reflect contract deliverables, strategic priorities, and sustainability.

  • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure alignment between consulting work and 2Rev’s broader learning design framework and strategic priorities, driving coherence and quality across all engagements.

  • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with partners that support successful implementation and may lead to extended or future engagements.

K-12 Strategy Development & Quality 

  • Lead the development and implementation of the K-12 strategy in alignment with 2Rev’s organizational priorities and in collaboration with the Strategy Team.

  • Lead the development, refinement, and continuous improvement of 2Rev’s K–12 transformation offerings, ensuring they are scalable, equity-centered, and grounded in learner-centered design.

  • Manage and evaluate the implementation of K-12 programming using data, feedback, and continuous improvement cycles.

  • Collaborate with the Strategy Team to inform staffing and budget planning for upcoming projects, ensuring feasibility, alignment, and strategic fit with 2Rev’s priorities.

  • Provide guidance and capacity-building for internal teams on K–12 programming, instructional leadership, and strategic facilitation, supporting high-impact delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align K12-facing Communities of Practice and learning experiences with graduate credit opportunities, ensuring coherence and clarity for partners and participants.

  • Support the design, revision, and continuous improvement of 2Rev’s content assets, ensuring alignment with learner-centered, equity-driven, and competency-based principles.

  • Support internal K-12-related budgeting needs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support scalable, equity-centered transformation efforts.

Expertise in instructional leadership, systems transformation, and learner-centered school and district models.

  • Transformative Facilitation – Centers the learner in all aspects of strategy, design, and implementation. Creates brave and inclusive learning environments while holding space for courageous reflection and action based on the needs of all learners. Demonstrates skill in designing and facilitating learning experiences that support individual and organizational transformation. Navigates conversations around power, identity, and systemic inequity with care and clarity both internally and in the field.

  • Thought Leadership & Relationship Management – Builds and sustains trust-based relationships with partners while representing 2Rev as a thought leader in future-forward, learner-centered education. Supports both successful implementation and the organic identification of future opportunities to extend impact. Demonstrates Impact by contributing to the national conversation on education innovation, equitable learning ecosystems, and competency-based models—influencing the broader field through writing, speaking, and supporting partners with strategic insight to help connect implementation to broader goals.


Notes on Work Environment

  • This role is fully remote, working across time zones from a home office.

  • Travel is required 2–3 times annually for team retreats and stepbacks, with additional travel based on project needs.

  • This role involves sustained computer use and virtual meeting facilitation.

  • We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience ($105,000-$145,000), a generous benefits package, and the potential for an annual bonus.
