Frankel is a full-service marketing and business consulting agency and we’re seeking a seasoned Social Media Specialist to join our Gainesville-based client services team.

 

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, publishing, monitoring, and analyzing paid and organic social content for both Frankel and our clients’ social media platforms in order to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness, and encourage community members to engage with our internal and client brands.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that align with our marketing and business objectives, as well as managing the social media presence of our clients. This role involves content creation, community engagement, performance analysis, campaign management, influencer partnerships, paid advertising, and staying updated with the latest social media trends. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive brand message and adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines. Strong experience in organic content creation, paid ads, and proficiency with various social media and design tools are essential. This hybrid position requires in-office work at Frankel HQ on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives. This applies to Frankel’s social presence as well as all Frankel social media clients. 

  • Create and manage social media calendars, outlining content pillars, campaigns, and scheduling of posts.

 

2. Content Creation and Management:

  • Generate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms (text, images, videos, infographics, etc.).

  • Coordinate with project managers/brand managers/creative to produce visually appealing content that resonates with the target audience.

  • Plan, shoot, and edit organic content shoots for video and static posts. 

 

3. Community Engagement and Interaction:

  • Monitor and manage social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Foster a sense of community by engaging with followers, facilitating discussions, and promoting positive interactions.

  • Make sure overly negative comments are immediately flagged to brand managers with recommended next steps. 

 

4. Analytics and Performance Evaluation:

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, conversion rates, etc.).

  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to optimize future campaigns and strategies. 

 

5. Campaign Management:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute social media campaigns (promotions, contests, influencer partnerships) to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.

 

6. Influencer Partnerships and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to expand the clients’ reach and enhance credibility within the target audience.

  • Maintain relationships with influencers, ensuring they align with the brand's values and goals.

 

7. Paid Advertising:

  • Assist in planning and managing paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms, optimizing ad performance based on objectives.

  • Assist in managing budgets effectively to achieve campaign goals and maximize ROI.

 

8. Social Media Trends and Platform Management:

  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.

  • Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new platforms or features to enhance the brand's social media presence. Create a content strategy for the client's presence on the platform and how we will monitor performance.

 

9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other teams (leadership, account services, project management, and creative) to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message across all channels.

 

10. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines regarding social media usage and advertising.

  • Monitor and manage potential risks related to brand reputation on social media.

 

11. Report Generation and Presentation:

  • Prepare regular reports summarizing social media performance and present findings to Frankel leadership and brand managers, making recommendations for improvements.

 

Experience & Skills

  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to Gainesville, FL. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office work at Frankel HQ in Gainesville, FL on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

  • Experience with organic social content creation, including, stories, in-feed static images, reels, and videos on Facebook and Instagram, as well as TikTok.

  • Experience using TikTok, LinkedIn and the Meta Business Suite: Facebook, Instagram, Business Manager and Ads Manager

  • Experience using Canva.

  • Experience using Adobe Suite.

  • Paid Ads experience on Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok is preferred.
