What You’ll Do:
The role of the Data Migration Intern is to perform data migration related activities, including exporting, cleansing, and organizing data to solve open issues. The Data Migration intern will work directly with our IT project team and will interface with all business departments within the organization.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Work closely with our project team and consultants to work through data migration preparation.
- Partner and communicate with business colleagues to understand and resolve any open items.
- Collaborate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals.
- Perform data cleansing as necessary to remove the potential for issues during data migration.
- Test data within the system, identifying and correcting any outstanding discrepancies or issues found with the migrated data.
- Develop best practice standards and protocols for data migration.
- Complete each task accurately by using a high level of focus and attention to detail.

Position Requirements:
- Education: Student currently enrolled a college degree program or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: MS Office with focus on Excel.
- Functional Skills: High attention to detail and problem solving capabilities.
- Technology Skills: Proficient skillset in Microsoft Office is required. Excel capabilities preferred.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Excellent interpersonal skills are required to assist in maintaining a growth-oriented environment. Must be able to quickly evaluate situations and take direct, appropriate action to resolve issues thinking in a strategic, long-term approach.
- Culture Match: Professional in appearance, reliable and able to work within a close team while possessing individual accountability for the role is key.
