What You’ll Do:

As the Head of Marketing for Truma USA, you will research, develop and execute on strategic business/marketing plans, focused on meeting or exceeding sales objectives each year.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Develops and executes on short and long-term marketing strategies, aligned with the overall global marketing strategy, Sales, and a focus on building brand reputation to meet or exceed sales goals. This includes successful introduction and the life cycle of new and existing product lines or extensions.
  • Researches, collaborates, develops, and creates Point of Sales and OEM/Dealer marketing material, tools, and presentations for Truma USA products that can be used for the Truma Sales team, Service Centers, Truma Dealer Partners, Trade Shows, OEM’s, etc., that is focused on sales and product objectives.
  • Provides leadership, training, tools, and mentoring for Marketing and associated Sales personnel, to effectively implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Develops brand awareness and recognition through campaigns, events, PR, press releases, etc., using consistent communication in accordance with local and global marketing and communication strategies.
  • Develops and leads the strategy, implementation, and integration of the Truma USA website, social media platforms, and related customer/public relations programs and campaigns to build brand awareness. Directs the e-marketing development and campaign processes, which includes selecting and targeting customers as well as leading them to purchases to optimize ROI on all marketing programs.
  • Identifies trade shows and rallies that would be most impactful, prepares for and manages the events, evaluates and develops different booths and setups based on optimal sales/service opportunities.
  • Analyzes business and sales data with the Marketing budget to align strategies, product pricing, and marketing tools that will create the highest level of impact towards meeting company goals.
  • Interfaces and supports other areas of the business as needed to ensure overall company success.
  • Maintains accurate and timely files, forecasts, and data, as needed, to provide summations on “state of the business” on an on-going basis.
  • Strong communication and collaboration within the marketing team and the entire management and Sales team.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: A BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive B2C Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and business management experience, with high end/high quality brand products, ideally in the automotive, RV or related non-consumer goods industry; preferably within a global company. E-Commerce and Aftermarket experience.
  • Functional Skills: Advanced skillset in business and sales/marketing planning; excellent research, analytics, budgeting, and strategic process skills. Experience in developing branded marketing and sales material aligned to drive business goals; experience in social media advertising, e-marketing campaigns and measuring success of programs; key strength in analyzing data to determine return on investment and aligning programs that are effective.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Experienced with CRM systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is also required.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional presentation skills, are also required. Ability to speak French would be helpful, but not required.
