Position Overview

We are seeking a high-capacity, polished, and proactive professional to join our Phoenix team as a Special Projects Assistant. This role is a "masterclass" in nonprofit growth, designed for an early-career individual who wants to work at the center of a fast-scaling national organization. You will work side-by-side with our leadership, providing agile support to ensure our donor research is thorough, our materials are world-class, and our organizational projects are executed with meticulous attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Research & Intelligence: Conduct background research on prospective donors and partners to prepare detailed briefing materials for leadership meetings and outreach.
  • Communications & Presentation Support: Assist in maintaining our high standards for external materials, ensuring all documents—from presentation decks to impact reports—are polished, professional, and accurately reflect our mission and voice.
  • Database & Development Support: Assist with our donor database (Bloomerang) by ensuring records are updated accurately and donor acknowledgments are handled with speed, excellence, and a personal touch.
  • On-Site Project Execution: Provide versatile support for special initiatives, helping organize digital assets, coordinate meeting logistics, and ensure the office environment reflects the Center’s commitment to excellence.
