Award-winning legal advocacy organization for abused children seeks staff attorney for Arizona-based pro bono Children’s Law Clinic.

The Center for the Rights of Abused Children is expanding and seeks an entrepreneurial, creative, and collaborative attorney to advise, support, and represent older foster youth who are transitioning out of the foster care system; work to remove barriers to foster children’s educational success; and represent children and caregivers in dependency cases. The staff attorney will engage in outreach and training for youth in care, foster parents, Court Appointed Special Advocates, social workers, and court and licensing agency personnel. Experience in child welfare and foster care dependency legal matters is helpful, but not required. The position requires a strong presence in The Center’s Phoenix office but allows for flexible scheduling in a foster and family friendly environment.

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families across the country.
