Wisetek is currently searching for a highly qualified Warehouse Supervisor - based in our Austin, TX facility. This position is responsible for identifying and analyzing problems, planning tasks, and solutions. The Supervisor will provide guidance on team development, performance, and productivity issues. The individual will report to management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity.


General Responsibilities:  Duties include, but not limited to, the following: 

·        Lead a team of operators/drivers to ensure targets for quality/service/costs are achieved

·        Take responsibility for people and production, prioritizing safety and quality

·        Develop team leads and other team members

·        Initiate and drive improvement projects with the principles of Lean Manufacturing

·        Manage department KPI’’s and drive improvements

·        Participate in recruitment of new team members and manager training requirements

·        Develop/facilitate cost improvement initiatives

·        Coordinate and participate in general housekeeping of work areas

·        Ensure employees are treated correctly in compliance with company procedures

Requirements

·        Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role

·        Good written and verbal communications skills

·        Attention to detail and accuracy are essential

·        Possesses drive and ability to lead team to maintain highest efficiency standards

·        Strong PC sills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

·        Ability to travel to other locations

·        Experience implementing process improvements
