Wisetek Is hiring a Process Engineer to be based out of our Austin, TX facility.  The primary responsibilities are to provide hands-on process & quality support for production. To assist with all engineering activities relating to new process implementation, onboarding Clients and the introduction of new products across all of Wisetek’s divisions. To perform quality related activities, including but not limited to, First Article Inspections, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements mainly ISO, support investigation and documentation of Customer complaints/CAPAs. Work collaboratively with the IS&T department and Engineering on aligning the physical processes with Wisetek’s Service Platforms (i.e. ERP, CRM, Customer Facing Portals). Participate in the development, implementation & continuous improvement of processes.  Driving User Acceptance Testing & production rollout. Travel & off-site project work opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

Duties include but not limited to the following;

·         Provide hands-on Engineering support to operations, maintaining production uptime

·         Provide Engineering Support for activities related to New Product & Process Implementation

·         Assist Test Engineering getting Client Test solutions production ready

·         Collaborate with Business development & customer service onboarding/support end Client processes

·         Working with the quality department developing and implementing quality standards/control systems

·         Ensure compliance to all production procedures/work instructions & Engineering Change Notifications

·         Perform process audits based on ISO9001 requirements

·         Develop User Acceptance Test Plans & perform production testing

·         Participate in Product/Process qualification and User Acceptance Testing

·         Working with Process/Test Engineering and the IS&T departments, aligning the physical & System processes

·         Identifying opportunities for process/system enhancements and drive Continuous Improvement projects

·         Running production time studies, develop metrics & corresponding KPIs

·         Write well-structured work instructions and training material, ensuring all related documentations are maintained and kept up to date

·         Client, End Of Quarter Support

·         Interacts with internal and external customers

Skills and Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Process/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent

·         12months+ NPI & Manufacturing support experience

·         Comfortable on IT systems, ERP, CRM, QMS etc desirable

·         Working Knowledge of Nav Dynamics 2017 an advantage

·         Working Knowledge of ISO desirable

·         Problem Solver with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Willingness to travel
