Job Description

As a Housing Data Operations Specialist I, you'll serve as the critical link between our frontline care navigators and the housing resources that change lives. You'll dig deep into housing markets, validate real-world solutions, and help build the infrastructure that makes Upside's mission possible. This role sits at the heart of what we do — connecting people experiencing housing instability to the stable homes that improve their health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Support care navigators in resolving complex, high-need housing cases
  • Research and validate housing resources and social determinants of health (SDOH) solutions across multiple markets
  • Build and manage partnerships with housing programs, landlords, and community organizations
  • Create tools, guides, and reference materials to help the team address member SDOH needs
  • Maintain organized, accurate databases of housing resources and partner contacts
  • Track the status and reliability of housing listings and community partnerships
  • Identify gaps in resource coverage and proactively source new solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and resource accessibility
  • Complete additional duties as needed to support team and member outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong data organizational skills with the ability to manage and maintain complex information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Sharp analytical mindset with demonstrated research capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Tech-savvy with comfort navigating multiple platforms and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in housing, social services, healthcare, or a related field
  • Familiarity with SDOH frameworks and community resource navigation
  • Experience building or maintaining community/vendor partnerships
  • Background in data entry, data validation, or operations support roles
