Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
The Head of Marketing & Sales will help lay the foundation for national step-change growth. This person will lead marketing data-driven marketing efforts to drive customer growth across various customer profiles. They will lead the creation of high-impact digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, in-bound inquiries, and revenue growth. They will also lead the development of a content marketing strategy from the ground up. The Head of Marketing & Sales will also support other strategic initiatives of the company.
Works with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive business development strategy
Designs and executes the content marketing strategy to drive in-bound traffic
Leads a team of account executives and sales development associates
Builds relationships and sells consultatively to drive buying decisions of VP, Director, and C-Level executives at healthcare provider and payer organizations
Conduct meetings with potential prospects, including demonstrating product capabilities and presenting accurate and compelling sales information
Complete all sales meeting preparation and follow-up in an effective and timely manner
Consistently meet or exceed the quarterly and annual sales quotas
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant healthcare trends, priorities, and challenges, in addition to how Pear Suite aligns and supports these opportunities
Develop relationships with existing referral partners as well as generate new referral partnerships to support growth goals
Attend in-person and virtual events to present product capabilities, increase company awareness, and convert leads into prospects
Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results
5+ years of relevant B2B healthcare sales experience, ideally including experience in a leadership role.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining high quality up to date data and notes on all interactions.
Excellent communication skills; comfortable communicating by email, video conference, and phone
Comfortable with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Close.io, etc.)
Ability to develop strong professional relationships to increase partnerships and referrals
Must be independent, self-motivated, and success-driven
Highly organized and detail-oriented
